In our warm salad bowls, we use ingredients like lentils, yams, farro, chicken, and tofu for protein and we add heaps of cruciferous vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, and kale. Cruciferous vegetables are low-calorie, and rich in folate, vitamins C, E, and K, and fiber. 

While cruciferous veggies can be eaten raw, many people experience gas and bloating from difficult-to-digest sugars. Once lightly steamed, these sugars become easier to digest.  

Furthermore, any proteins can be found at the bottom of your Meal-Pod so they are warmed for an elevated salad bowl experience.
