With a light touch of heat and steam, the Smart Cooker transforms an everyday salad into something magical!
In our warm salads, we use ingredients like lentils, yams, farro, chicken, and tofu for protein and we add heaps of cruciferous vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, and kale. Cruciferous vegetables are low-calorie, and rich in folate, vitamins C, E, and K, and fiber.
While cruciferous veggies can been eaten raw, many people experience gas and bloating from difficult-to-digest sugars. Once lightly steamed, these sugars become easier to digest.
My personal favourite: Thai Chicken Salad for its kale and cabbage slaw, mango, red finger chili, thai basil, and spicy peanut sauce.
